Barstow Cleanup 2009 – Barstow, CA – 11/14/2009

All I can say is WOW. This weekend went great. I dont even know where to start…

5 dumpsters overflowing with trash, 1 dumpster overflowing with scrap metal, and 3 trailer loads, 2 stake bed truck loads of tires to Americans tire company throughout victorville was insane. And over 300 Volunteers out in full force.

A Big thanks to all the sponsors. Without such great companies in our sport there is no way we could have put on such a great event. With such great prizes. We had boxes full of shirts, DVDs, and gear to raffle off, and some of the best parts in the industry as well. links, bump stops, full floater housings, LED light bars. Man i wish I could of had all those parts. So thanks to all of our sponsors:

Barstow Cleanup 2008 – Barstow, CA – 10/18/2008

Well its safe to say that the Clean-dezert.org Barstow cleanup was a complete success, from the amount of people that showed up and the mountain of trash the we gathered and removed. We would like to start off by thanking everyone who came out and volunteered thier time, and also sponsors such as: FOX SHOCKS, AEM INTAKES, CAMBURG, GLASS WORKS, →

2008 Mini Cleanup 3 – Barstow, CA – 07/20/2008

Our third mini clean-up of the series was held in Barstow off of Oulet Center Drive. We showed up Sunday morning to a 40 cu roll off dumpster. The weather was perfect, not too hot for being the middle of summer. After our last event in Barstow we decided that having a roll off would be a better solution since →

2008 Mini Cleanup 2 – Lucerne Valley, CA – 05/25/2008

Our second cleanup of the 2008 Mini Cleanup series took place at the end of Bessemer Mine Road and Soggy Dry Lake in Lucerne Valley. This was our first cleanup in this area and we weren't completely sure what to expect. Because of it's isolated location, we were confident that there would be less large refuse, unlike Barstow which is →

2008 Mini Cleanup 1 – Barstow, CA – 03/16/2008

It's been two years since Clean-Dezert has been to Barstow. Hoping to continue the tradition that started with Clean-Dezert's inaugural cleanup in December 2006, the group returned to begin a series of mini cleanups scheduled to coincide with the 2008 desert racing season. The strategy: Rather than organizing only one large cleanup during the year, Clean-Dezert hopes to establish a consistent →

Desert Clean Up 18 – Hosted by Ocotillo Wells SVRA & North County Yamaha – November 3, 2007

Driving out, I was definitely eager to just be away from the usual hustle and bustle. I work at a church, and the past couple weeks had been extremely hectic as we were heavily involved with the San Diego Wildfire recovery efforts. I simply needed to get away for a while. Also, there had been an overwhelming response from members →

Ocotillo Wells Earth Day Clean Up- Apr 21, 2007

Pretty mellow weekend. Adam, James, and I met up with a few people in Ocotillo Friday night. It was really quiet. We drove around a little bit and then just hung out in camp. The next morning we did a little prerun for trash and then headed over to the Ranger station. The cleanup crew consisted of about 25 girl scouts and →

Camburg Cleanup 2006 – Barstow, CA – 12/09/2006

I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with how today's cleanup event went. It was bigger than I imagined it would be. HUGE thanks to Camburg for being our primary sponsor and for helping us get so many other sponsors on board. (view sponsors) Thanks to everyone who donated stuff to raffle off. And especially, thanks to the →
